It’s soft and even after a few washes it’s bounced back to normal. My only problem is it’sa bit small so my little won’t use it often because of that. But i love it

It's not the sellers' fault but I learned the hard way that producers should know better than to sell pillows to toddlers that have pictures on them since the idea of a pillow is for the child to sleep and toddlers aren't inclined to sleep if there are pictures of truck and cars right next to their face!

Pictures on the left. This was the first pillow we purchased for our 22 month old. We noticed he was bunching up his blanket under his head at night. Poor baby. He seemed ready. But it ended up being a little too fluffy for him, even though he has a large noggin. He liked it enough but his head would roll off and quickly end up off the pillow. We purchased another flatter pillow (on the right) for now but we kept this one for when he's ready for a bigger one. I did like that it was OEKO-TEX certified.
