I wish I had known these existed sooner!Although my crib mattress comes with a zip on waterproof cover I took it off because it made the mattress much firmer and I believe it was causing sleep issues for our baby. We've since had a few times when baby has thrown up in the middle of the night and just had to deal with the consequences of a stinky mattress...Most waterproof covers are THICK and LOUD so I'v avoided buying them. These crib sheets, however,... WOW. They are incredibly soft! Much softer than my 100% organic cotton sheets. These sheets are soooo smooth and soft and not at all loud. The waterproof backing is on the interior of the crib sheet (the side that touches the mattress, not the baby) and is very thin and soft. I doubted they were truly waterproof so I ran it under the sink and although the top of the sheet did visibly get wet (the top layer is water absorbent) the water NEVER came through the other side of the sheet! This means that while you still need to change the sheet if baby has an accident (which you should want to do anyways...) you do NOT have to worry about cleaning the mattress! The sheets are also incredibly stretchy which shocked me. Im not sure how this technology works so well but it does.My ONLY complaint/con, is that unlike the white cotton sheets I get (I'm not sure if this is common amongst colored sheets because I only have white in cotton) any wetness that gets on the sheets leaves its mark until you wash it. So little dribbles from snot or drool are on the crib sheets. I don't mind too much- it definitely gets me to change and wash more often (as I should)Because of the beautiful soft colors and extremely soft fabric I would recommend this as regular sheets even if you're not concerned with having a waterproof layer.If you need the waterproof layer I ABSOLUTELY still recommend these sheets!Overall, a parenting win!Would also make an amazing gift to expecting parents or a 1st birthday giftupdate:Hi. I just came back to let you all know my 1.5yr old is extremely sick and had an explosive diarrhea diaper onto these sheets. AND IT DID NOT SOAK THROUGH. Thank GOODNESS I had these sheets on!! Seriously. Buy them and save your mattress lol

These are decent carbs sheets for the cost but I would say they're entirely waterproof because if your baby has a bigger accident, a little can soak through to the mattress. Also, the color and texture shows stains/marks very quickly, so be prepared to have to change your babies sheets every 1-3 days because there will be very noticeable drool marks on them.

These sheets are great for their waterproof ability and for staying cool. The material is really soft. They are easy to put on the crib. These would be wonderful in the summer or if your house is generally warm. However, I found that because they are so thin and cooling my baby didn't like them as much as some of our cotton sheets. It is almost too cold to be able to transfer the baby. He did pee through these sheets and they protected our crib mattress which is great. They wash very well. I would just only use them in warmer temps.

These crib sheets are in very light neutral colors and the bamboo feel couldnt be nicer. They are very soft and then backed with the waterproof fabric. I have other waterproof crib sheets but none are as nice looking as these. They fit a standard crib size and stretch to the corners very easily. The bamboo fabric looks great in the crib and they come with easy care instructions. If neutral solid colors is what you are looking for, you absolutely can not go wrong with these.

These crib sheets feel super soft and I love that they are waterproof lined, without having to use a separate liner on the mattress. Straight out of the box, they had a really strong chemical smell, so I would definitely wash them before use. Also, the box I received seemed like it was beat up and opened, and one of the fitted sheets seems rolled up, so it almost seems like this might have been a return, or previous used item? The color matched the listing picture perfectly. I like the sheets but I am a little uneasy about whether I received a returned item or not.

These crib sheets are AMAZING. How do they do it?!Even if they weren't waterproof, these would still be wonderful crib sheets. They're generously sized, have elastic all around, the colors are soft and beautiful, and they're very, very soft and silky. The stitching is neat and flawless. These just look and feel like quality.And then there's the waterproof feature - they truly are. I put a folded facial tissue underneath and poured water on the sheet. It puddled up. I rubbed and rubbed, and eventually the water saturated the surface fabric. Then twice more I poured water on the same spot, rubbed some more each time, and pressed down hard. And when I removed the folded tissue from underneath, it was bone dry.Yet despite being waterproof, the sheets are quiet, soft, fluid and not stiff, and don't make any rustling or crinkly noise. And they have no odors that I could detect, unlike vinyl waterproof coating.They come nicely packaged, too, in an attractive brown kraft box with a clear cutout window and two nice cards inside.I haven't washed these yet, but am really impressed so far. I'll update if anything changes. Highly recommended!
